Schedule — Sunday, February 22

The final day. Cross-country skiing closes out with a distance event in the morning, and any remaining medal events across the program are settled. The last gold medal of the Milano Cortina Games will be awarded, and then it’s time for the farewell.

The Closing Ceremony takes place at the Arena di Verona, the nearly 2,000-year-old Roman amphitheater. It’s one of the most stunning venues ever used for an Olympic ceremony, and the setting should produce a memorable send-off. Expect the ceremony to begin in the evening Italian time, putting it in the afternoon ET window.

Seventeen days, roughly 116 gold medals, and countless memories. The Olympic flame goes out in Verona, and the countdown to the 2030 Winter Games begins.
