Schedule — Monday, February 16 (Presidents’ Day)
Presidents’ Day means a day off for millions of Americans — and the timing couldn’t be better. Alpine skiing slalom is one of the most accessible events for casual fans: short runs, dramatic gate sequences, and Mikaela Shiffrin is always a factor. Whether it’s the men’s or women’s slalom, expect two runs with a first run early in the morning ET and a second run wrapping up before lunch.
Biathlon mass start racing begins the field together and lets the race sort itself out — chaos and strategy in equal measure. Figure skating continues its singles program, and short track speed skating finals deliver some of the fastest, most collision-prone racing in the entire Olympics.
Skeleton wraps up at Cortina, and Nordic combined may deliver another medal. With the day off, you’ve got no excuse to miss anything.
