2026 Winter Olympics Schedule
Seventeen days. Sixteen sports. More than a hundred gold medals. The Milano Cortina 2026 competition calendar runs from Friday, February 6 through Sunday, February 22, and we’ve organized every session so you can plan your viewing down to the hour.
All times on this site are listed in Eastern Time (ET) and Pacific Time (PT). Italy runs on Central European Time (CET), which is six hours ahead of ET and nine hours ahead of PT. That means a 10:00 a.m. start in Cortina is 4:00 a.m. ET / 1:00 a.m. PT. Prime-time events in Italy (around 8:00 p.m. CET) land at 2:00 p.m. ET / 11:00 a.m. PT — right in the middle of the American workday.
Key Dates to Circle
- Feb 6 (Fri) — Opening Ceremony at Stadio San Siro, Milan. Curling round-robin and select preliminary rounds also begin.
- Feb 7 (Sat) — First medals awarded. Biathlon, cross-country skiing, short track, and freestyle skiing moguls are typically among the first sports to hand out gold.
- Feb 14 (Sat) — Valentine’s Day falls mid-Games. Figure skating and ice hockey action make for solid date-night viewing.
- Feb 16 (Mon) — Presidents’ Day in the U.S. A day off work means guilt-free morning viewing of alpine skiing and biathlon.
- Feb 21 (Sat) — Penultimate day. Traditionally packed with marquee finals including cross-country marathon, bobsled, and ice hockey medal games.
- Feb 22 (Sun) — Final events and Closing Ceremony at Arena di Verona.
